The Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington have signed their 2015 1st-round draft picks, even though one of them is out for the season.
On Tuesday morning the Jaguars inked a deal with former Florida Gators OLB Dante Fowler Jr., the No. 3 overall draft pick, who unfortunately won’t play in the 2015 season due to an ACL tear he suffered last week.

Washington signed OT Brandon Scherff, the No. 5 overall draft pick, to a five-year deal and have moved him to right tackle, making him the bookend to star LT Trent Williams. Washington received some criticism from draft picks for taking Scherff – who most did not consider a top five pick – at 5th while letting USC star DE Leonard Williams fall to No. 6.

With the signings, Tennessee Titans No. 2 overall draft pick Marcus Mariota remains the only top-5 pick unsigned from the 2015 NFL draft. Mariota has already been named the starter for the Titans but has yet to sign a contract with the team. No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston signed a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just hours after being draft.
