The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-17 at Wembley Stadium in London in Week 10 of NFL action.
After giving up a TD to the Jaguars midway through the 1st quarter, the Cowboys responded with 4 unanswered TDs – three passes from QB Tony Romo and one rush from Joseph Randle – including two amazing TD catches from WR Dez Bryant. The Cowboys were comfortably ahead enough in the fourth quarter that the team didn’t need to even keep Romo in the game, pulling him so he could rest and putting the ball back in RB DeMarco Murray’s hands – who recorded his 9th game of the season with 100+ rushing yards.
The Jaguars struggled throughout the game, committing 3 turnovers – an INT from rookie QB Blake Bortles, and fumbles from RB Denard Robinson and WR Ace Sanders – and failing to pressure the QB or cover WR Dez Bryant. Bryant finished the game with 6 receptions for 158 yards.
With the win the Cowboys climb to 7-3, and are only half a game out of 1st place in the NFC East division behind the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys have a bye next week and then play the New York Giants on the road on Sunday Night football.
With the loss the Jaguars fall to 1-9, guaranteeing their fourth straight losing season, and second straight losing season under head coach Gus Bradley. The Jaguars have a bye in Week 11 before a Week 12 game against the AFC South leading Indianapolis Colts.
