The Seattle Seahawks have recovered from a rough patch and are riding a two-game winning streak, and they will take on the New York Giants at home. The Giants have been a hot-and-cold team and are currently cold as they hold a 3-5 record.
The Seahawks dealt the Oakland Raiders another loss as they won, 30-24. Running back Marshawn Lynch ran for 67 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.
He also added another 76 receiving yards on five catches. Quarterback Russell Wilson was quiet as he threw for 179 yards on 17-of-35 passing.
The Giants lost their third game in a row as they were demolished, 40-24, on Monday Night Football by the Indianapolis Colts. Quarterback Eli Manning threw for 359 yards and two touchdowns on 27-of-52 passing.
Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. validated the Giants’ decision to draft him in the first round by catching eight passes for 156 yards.
However, the running game underwhelmed as Andre Williams was held to 22 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.
The Giants will look to re-discover the form they showed in their three-game winning streak, but it will continue to be difficult with starting running back Rashad Jennings and their best wide receiver, Victor Cruz, out with injuries.
Winning in Seattle is always a difficult task too.
Prediction: Seahawks 28, Giants 17
