The Cincinnati Bengals moved into first place in the AFC North as they defeated the New Orleans Saints, 27-10, on the road.
The Bengals controlled the game throughout, and they had it all but wrapped up at the end of the third quarter with a 20-3 lead, and a fumble by running back Travaris Cadet at the end ruined any chance the Saints had of coming back.
Quarterback Andy Dalton bounced back and did a complete 180 from his Thursday Night Football performance by throwing for 220 yards and three touchdowns on 16-of-22 passing.
Running back Jeremy Hill rushed for 152 yards on 27 carries to bounce back from last week’s forgettable performance. Wide receiver A.J. Green looked like his old self again as he caught six passes for 127 yards and a touchdown.
For the Saints, quarterback Drew Brees continued to look like a shell of his former self as he threw for 255 yards and one touchdown pass on 33-of-41 passing, and most of these yards came in garbage time.
Running back Mark Ingram fell back down to Earth as he was held to 67 yards on 23 carries. Wide receiver Marques Colston caught four passes for 56 yards.
