The Seattle Seahawks continued to look vulnerable on the road as they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs, 24-20. Their record fell to 6-4, and this may be their last chance to stay in the NFC West title race as they take on the Arizona Cardinals.
Running back Marshawn Lynch ran for 124 yards on 24 carries, and quarterback Russell Wilson threw two touchdown passes, but the Seahawks were unable to come through in the clutch as the Chiefs defense held strong in the fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals won their sixth game in a row with a 14-6 victory against the Detroit Lions. Quarterback Drew Stanton filled in well as he threw for 306 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.
Wide receiver Michael Floyd caught two passes for 54 yards, and both of them went for touchdowns. Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald sprained his MCL, but it is not believed to be serious, and he is optimistic about playing on Sunday.
The Cardinals defense has performed remarkably despite having major injuries, but it will face a major test against a Seahawks team that always performs better at home.
The Cardinals don’t have as big of a sense of urgency as the Seahawks have right now, so an off day is not out of the question for the Cardinals.
Prediction: Seahawks 24, Cardinals 14
