The Minnesota Vikings improved to 5-7 with a 31-13 win over the Carolina Panthers as their special teams shined with two touchdowns.

The Minnesota Vikings bullied the Carolina Panthers to the tune of a 31-13 victory as they cruised after coming up with two blocked punt touchdowns.
Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater looked efficient as he threw for 138 yards and two touchdown passes on 15-of-21 passing.
Wide receiver Greg Jennings caught five passes for 45 yards and a touchdown to lead the Vikings in receiving. Running back Matt Asiata rushed for 52 yards on 14 carries.
Defensive end Everson Griffen reached 10 sacks on the season as he came up with two against the Panthers, and the Vikings totaled four.
For the Panthers, quarterback Cam Newton was held to 194 yards with a touchdown pass and an interception on 18-of-35 passing. He also added 49 rushing yards on nine carries.
Running back Jonathan Stewart ran for 85 yards on 12 carries, and tight end Greg Olsen caught five passes for 59 yards.
Wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin added another five receptions for 56 yards.
