Bears Buccaneers preview
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have shed their label as the worst team in the NFL after achieving their second win of the season, but they lost again to the Chicago Bears.
However, they held the Bears to 21 points and stayed competitive, which is progress for them from the beginning of the season. They will look to turn a moral victory into an actual victory as they face the Cincinnati Bengals.
Buccaneers quarterback Josh McCown is looking better post-injury than he did at the beginning of the season, but his two interceptions and lost fumble against the Bears were costly.
The running game was also underwhelming like the whole season as Doug Martin was held to 27 yards on 11 carries.
Meanwhile, the Bengals hold a 7-3-1 record and are in a good position to contend for another AFC North title. They recently defeated the Houston Texans, 22-13.
Running back Jeremy Hill rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown, and Giovani Bernard added 45 yards in his return from a hip injury. They will likely continue to split carries, and the Buccaneers defense is ripe for a dominant performance.
Wide receiver A.J. Green has shown that he is fully healthy again as he caught 12 passes for 121 yards.
Prediction: Bengals 31, Buccaneers 17
