The New Orleans Saints snapped their three-game losing streak with a 35-32 win on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Quarterback Drew Brees has had his struggles this season, but he put together his best performance on Monday Night Football.
Brees threw five touchdown passes with 257 yards, and running back Mark Ingram continued to be the feature back in the Saints offense as he rushed for 122 yards on 23 carries.
Wide receiver Kenny Stills also stepped up with his best performance of the season by catching five passes for 162 yards and a touchdown in the absence of injured rookie Brandin Cooks.
The offense will look to keep rolling against the Carolina Panthers, who have lost six games in a row since tying with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Panthers were dominated in their previous game, 31-13, by the Minnesota Vikings. Quarterback Cam Newton was held to 194 yards with a touchdown and an interception on 18-of-35 passing.
His offensive line continued to do him no favors as he was sacked four times, and the defense will have their hands full against an explosive Saints offense.
Prediction: Saints 34, Panthers 21
