The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are both tied for the lead in the NFC East race with a 9-4 record, and they will face each other in a high stakes game on Sunday Night Football that may ultimately decide who wins the division.
The Eagles offense was held to 14 points by a suffocating Seattle Seahawks defense, and quarterback Mark Sanchez managed only 96 yards despite throwing two touchdown passes against one interception.
Running back LeSean McCoy was held to 50 yards and lost a fumble, and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin only caught three passes for 21 yards even though he had a touchdown.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys tied the Eagles for the division lead on Thursday Night Football with a 41-28 win over the Chicago Bears.
Quarterback Tony Romo was nearly flawless as he threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns on 21-of-26 passing, and running back DeMarco Murray ran for 179 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries.
The Cowboys offense struggled in their last meeting against the Eagles as Romo threw two interceptions, and Murray was held to 73 rushing yards in a rare game with under 100 yards.
Although the Cowboys have to face the Eagles in Philadelphia, they are 6-0 on the road. However, the Eagles are 6-1 at home with their only loss being against the Seahawks. They will also have revenge on their minds following a loss.
The Eagles will prevail with home-field advantage in what will be a thrilling offensive shootout.
Prediction: Eagles 34, Cowboys 28
