The Buffalo Bills need a lot of help to get into the playoffs, but they need a win for any of it to matter.

The Buffalo Bills fight with their playoff hopes on the line against the Oakland Raiders in Week 16 of the NFL season.
With the 9th overall spot in the AFC Playoff picture, the Bills need to win out two plus two Ravens losses and either two Steelers losses or a Chargers loss plus a Chiefs loss in order to end their 15-year playoff drought. In two straight weeks the Bills defense has held former NFL MVPs Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers without a TD pass – no other team has done anything similar. The Bills will have the benefit of a returning C. J. Spiller as they take on the Raiders and hope that he can give them the offensive spark they need to make the great defensive effort mean something.
Only a month ago the Raiders were winless and seemingly hopeless. But after beating the Kansas City Chiefs and pulling an incredible upset over the San Francisco 49ers, the Raiders have shown that they have some legitimate building blocks for success if they can get the coaching right and find some permanent offensive weapons. QB Derek Carr has been playing great for a rookie lately and will try to outgun veteran Kyle Orton in this showdown between two playoff-starved teams.
Prediction: Buffalo Bills – Between that incredible Bills defense, the continued excellence of WRs Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins, and the return of C. J. Spiller, the Bills will be bringing in far more firepower into Oakland than the Raiders will know how to handle. And that will lead to an early display of sheer domination by Buffalo.
