The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hoping to play spoiler and avoid the worst record in the NFL as they take on the Green Bay Packers at home.
The Buccaneers played it close against a Derek Anderson-led Carolina Panthers team but ultimately fell, 19-17. Despite another underwhelming performance by quarterback Josh McCown, running back Doug Martin looked 100 percent healthy as he rushed for 96 yards on 14 carries.
McCown threw an interception while losing two fumbles against the Panthers, and he will struggle to keep up with a high-octane Packers offense that is sure to be determined to bounce back.
The Packers looked mortal in a 21-13 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was held to 185 yards and two interceptions on 17-of-42 passing.
Wide receiver Jordy Nelson also had a forgettable performance and dropped what would have been a 94-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter, which may have allowed the Packers to escape with a win.
The Packers have responded well to losses this season though, as they most recently scored 55 points against the Chicago Bears after returning from their bye week.
Although they are not as dangerous on the road, the Packers should have no problem dismantling a weak Buccaneers defense.
Prediction: Packers 38, Buccaneers 17
