Andrew Luck and the playoff-bound Indianapolis Colts take on the Tennessee Titans in Week 17 of the NFL season.
The Colts have already clinched their third straight AFC South title with QB Andrew Luck at the helm and can still get the No. 3 seed – which would make their road in the playoffs a little bit easier – but for now the Colts will likely focus on just winning the game. And winning has been an easy enough task in the AFC South, going 5-0 against their division but 5-5 against all other teams. The Colts have the appearance of a paper tiger but are more than capable of at least getting this win.
The Titans are just hoping the season ends as the first year of what might even be head coach Ken Whisenhunt’s final year with the team comes to a close. QB problems, bad defense and injuries torpedoed this season and now they are basically playing for draft position. Assuming the Titans lose they would lock up the No. 2 seed, or the No. 1 seed if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers somehow beat the New Orleans Saints.
Prediction: Indianapolis Colts – Even against some of the worst teams in football the Titans have failed to even put up a competitive performance. The Colts will most likely have WR T. Y. Hilton back, who should be able to make up for the team’s sudden case of inexplicable drops last week, and he’s sure to have a field day.
