Saints Falcons preview
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will receive the first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft if they lose their final game against the New Orleans Saints, but they will still look to finish their season on a high note.
The Buccaneers entered the season with some thinking of them as a playoff contender, but their worst case scenario has come true as they have a 2-13 record.
Quarterback Josh McCown has been a disappointment, and he looked dreadful in Week 16 against the Green Bay Packers as he was sacked seven times and held to 147 yards and an interception.
The Buccaneers as a whole were unable to produce any sort of offense in a 20-3 loss.
Meanwhile, the Saints have been eliminated from the playoffs after losing, 30-14, to the Atlanta Falcons. Their record fell to 6-9, which falls far below lofty expectations they had before this season.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees threw for 313 yards with a touchdown pass and two interceptions. This has been a rocky season for Brees, who increased his interception total to 14.
The Saints offense will be too overwhelming for a Buccaneers defense that has been unreliable throughout the season.
Prediction: Saints 31, Buccaneers 14
