The Arizona Cardinals will look to improve their record to 2-0 as they face off against the New York Giants, who are seeking their first win of the season.

The New York Giants were dealt a crushing blow on Monday Night Football by the Detroit Lions as they lost, 35-14. They will open their homestand against the Arizona Cardinals, who began their season with a win over the San Diego Chargers.
The Giants were clearly adjusting to their new offense as quarterback Eli Manning looked like he was still in 2013 form, throwing for 163 yards with one touchdown against two interceptions.
Running back Rashad Jennings was held to 46 yards on 16 carries, but he was able to score a touchdown.
The Cardinals stormed to a comeback win over the Chargers after trailing 17-6. Quarterback Carson Palmer had a fantastic game with 307 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Wide receiver Michael Floyd led the Cardinals with five receptions and 119 yards, but Larry Fitzgerald was held to one catch with 22 yards.
Running back Andre Ellington avoided a serious injury and had a solid game with 53 yards on 13 carries, and he contributed int he passing game with five catches and 27 yards.
The Cardinals showed that they can still thrive on defense, and the turnover-prone Giants will be much easier to defend than the Chargers.
The Giants’ cornerbacks had an abysmal showing against Lions wide receivers Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate, and defending the Cardinals receivers won’t be much easier.
Prediction: Cardinals 24, Giants 13
