The Philadelphia Eagles pulled off yet another comeback victory against the Indianapolis Colts as they overcame a 20-6 deficit to beat them, 30-27. They will look to remain undefeated as they face the Washington Redskins at home.
Running backs LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles each rushed for touchdowns to tie the game before the Colts took a 27-20 lead. Quarterback Nick Foles then threw the game-tying touchdown to wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, and kicker Cody Parkey nailed a 36-yard field goal as time ran out.
Sproles shined with seven catches and 152 receiving yards in addition to his 26 rushing yards, and Foles threw for 331 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
Tight end Zach Ertz also continued to be a crucial weapon as he finished with four receptions and 86 yards.
The Redskins will move forward with Kirk Cousins as their starting quarterback since Robert Griffin III is expected to be out for about eight weeks with a dislocated ankle.
The offense flourished with Cousins as the Redskins beat the Jaguars, 41-10. Cousins threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns, and running back Alfred Morris rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.
Tight end Niles Paul filled the void left by Jordan Reed just fine as he caught eight passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.
The Redskins are currently fourth in the NFL in scoring defense with 13.5 points allowed and first in total defense. However, the Eagles offense combined with being on the road will give the Redskins a test that will be too hard to overcome.
Prediction: Eagles 31, Redskins 24
