The Dallas Cowboys have gotten off to a 2-1 start, but they will face a big test from the New Orleans Saints as they face them on Sunday Night Football.
The Cowboys are coming off a 34-31 victory over the St. Louis Rams, and they had rallied from a 21-0 deficit to win that game. Quarterback Tony Romo threw for 217 yards with two touchdowns and an interception on 18-of-23 passing.
Running back DeMarco Murray rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries, but he lost his third fumble of the season.
Meanwhile, the Saints are coming off their first victory of the season. Quarterback Drew Brees looked like his old self again as he threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns on 27-of-35 passing.
The Saints offense appears to be back on track after moving the chains against an underrated Minnesota Vikings defense, and they are hungry for a win since they know they need to avoid a 1-3 start.
The Cowboys have not beaten a contender yet this season, so this will be their chance to prove that they are a contender in the NFC East.
It will be difficult for their defense to stop a powerful offensive attack by the Saints though.
Prediction: Saints 30, Cowboys 17
