The Philadelphia Eagles improved to 4-1 with a 34-28 win over the St. Louis Rams after they held off a furious rally consisting of 14 unanswered points.

The Philadelphia Eagles held off a rally by the St. Louis Rams to beat them, 34-28, and their record now stands at 4-1. The Eagles held a 34-14 lead at the end of the third quarter.
However, the Rams scored two touchdowns to pull within six points before the Eagles were able to hold them on their final drive.
Eagles quarterback Nick Foles had a shaky outing with 207 yards and two touchdowns with an interception while also losing a fumble. Running back LeSean McCoy was able to bounce back somewhat though as he rushed for 81 yards on 24 carries.
Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin had a solid performance as he caught five passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.
For the Rams, quarterback Austin Davis engineered the comeback attempt and threw for 375 yards and three touchdown passes on 29-of-49 passing.
However, the Rams received yet another huge blow to their offense as running back Zac Stacy left the game with a calf injury. Benny Cunningham filled in and rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Wide receiver Brian Quick caught five passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns.
