The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a bye week after pulling off an overtime win in a rematch against the Denver Broncos, and they are set to face the Washington Redskins on the road on Monday Night Football.
The Seahawks showed how vulnerable they can be on the road, but their loss was to the San Diego Chargers, who have proven to be one of the top teams in the NFL.
Quarterback Russell Wilson continues to be a quality passer as he has completed 69 percent of his passes while posting a 108.9 passer rating.
Running back Marshawn Lynch has proven his critics wrong after coming off a holdout, and he rushed for 88 yards and the game-winning touchdown against the Broncos.
However, the defense has taken a step back from last season as they rank 19th in pass defense. However, their run defense is fifth in the NFL.
Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins is looking to recover from a rough outing against the New York Giants where he threw four interceptions and lost a fumble. Him being prone to turnovers will give the Seahawks secondary an opportunity to bounce back.
Running back Alfred Morris will face a major test against the Seahawks run defense, and the Redskins receivers will face a major challenge from cornerback Richard Sherman and safeties Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas.
Prediction: Seahawks 31, Redskins 14
