The Baltimore Ravens were the latest team to humiliate the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are arguably the worst team in the NFL. They demolished them, 48-17, as quarterback Joe Flacco threw for a career-high five touchdown passes.
The Ravens took a 38-0 lead at halftime and never looked back. Flacco finished with 306 yards on 21-of-29 passing in addition to his touchdown passes. Running back Justin Forsett also shined as he rushed for 111 yards on 14 carries.
Steve Smith Sr. finished with five catches for 110 yards and a touchdown to lead the Ravens in receiving, and Torrey Smith added four catches for 51 yards and two touchdowns.
For the Buccaneers, quarterback Mike Glennon threw for 314 yards and two touchdowns with one interception on 24-of-44 passing. The running game continued to be mediocre as the Buccaneers only rushed for 87 total yards.
Doug Martin led the Buccaneers in rushing with 45 yards on 11 carries while Bobby Rainey added 42 yards on seven carries.
Louis Murphy led the Tampa Bay receivers with seven catches for 72 yards and a touchdown.
