The Houston Texans host their AFC South nemesis the Indianapolis Colts in a Thursday Night Football matchup.
The Texans have their mega stars back: Arian Foster, Andre Johnson and Brian Cushing and have already exceeded their 2013 win total by notching their 3rd win of the season against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4. Foster led the league in Week 5 with 157 yards on the ground in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys and is currently 4th in the league in rushing. The Texans will need to utilize him a lot to keep the Colts high-octane offense off the field.
The Colts started the season at a surprising 0-2 but have now won 3 straight and are tied with the Texans for first place in the AFC South. QB Andrew Luck currently leads the league in passing yards and has a trio of talented WRs – Reggie Wayne, Hakeem Nicks and T.Y. Hilton – at his disposal to make up for their deficiencies in the running game.
The winner of this game will have sole possession of first place in the AFC South.
Prediction: Colts – Until proven otherwise, Andrew Luck is the QB king of the AFC South, and no amount of defensive domination by J.J. Watt can stop him from assaulting the vulnerable Texans secondary.
