The Seattle Seahawks are sitting at 3-1, and they are still considered the best team in the NFL by many fans. They will face a major test in the Dallas Cowboys, who have surprised with a 4-1 start.
The Seahawks returned from their bye week with a 27-17 road win over the Washington Redskins. Quarterback Russell Wilson looked fantastic as he threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns on 18-of-24 passing.
His numbers may look ordinary, but he escaped many tackles despite a poor offensive line and had two touchdown passes to wide receiver Percy Harvin called back due to penalties. He also rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown.
The defense performed well for the most part but allowed a couple of big plays, including a 60-yard touchdown pass to Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys are coming off a 20-17 overtime victory over the Houston Texans. They held off a rally as quarterback Tony Romo completed a 37-yard pass to wide receiver Dez Bryant to set up the winning field goal.
Romo looked fantastic as he threw for 324 yards and two touchdowns with one interception on 28-of-41 passing. Running back DeMarco Murray rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries, but he lost his fourth fumble of the season.
Turnovers will have to be kept to a minimum if the Cowboys want to have any chance of beating the Seahawks on their home field. The Seahawks will be determined to have another statement win though.
