The Dallas Cowboys improved to 6-1 with a 31-21 win over the New York Giants as quarterback Tony Romo and running back DeMarco Murray continued their high-quality play.

The Dallas Cowboys officially established themselves as the best team in the NFL as they improved to 6-1 with a 31-21 victory over the New York Giants, who fell to 3-4.
The Giants took a 14-7 lead in the second quarter, but the Cowboys tied it up at halftime. They then proceeded to score 14 more unanswered points before the Giants trimmed it to 28-21.
However, tight end Larry Donnell lost two fumbles in the fourth quarter, which proved to be costly and a difference maker.
For the Cowboys, running back DeMarco Murray continued to make a strong case for MVP as he rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries.
Quarterback Tony Romo threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns with one interception on 17-of-23 passing. Wide receiver Dez Bryant caught nine passes for 151 yards.
Meanwhile, Giants quarterback Eli Manning had a solid game despite the loss as he threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns on 21-of-33 passing. Donnell led the Giants in receiving with seven catches for 90 yards despite his miscues. Running back Andre Williams rushed for 51 yards on 18 carries.
