The Green Bay Packers improved to 5-2 with a convincing 38-17 win over the Carolina Panthers as quarterback Aaron Rodgers continued to stay hot.

The Green Bay Packers pulled off their fourth win in a row as they easily defeated the Carolina Panthers, 38-17. They held a 38-3 lead in the third quarter, and their starters were pulled in the fourth quarter.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers continued to play in MVP form as he threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns on 19-of-22 passing. Wide receiver Randall Cobb caught six passes for 121 yards and a touchdown, and Jordy Nelson added four receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Running back Eddie Lacy had a solid performance as well as he rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.
For the Panthers, quarterback Cam Newton struggled greatly as he was held to 205 yards and a touchdown with an interception on 17-of-31 passing. Much of his numbers came in garbage time, but he was able to gain 41 yards on the ground.
Tight end Greg Olsen caught eight passes for 105 yards, and running back Jonathan Stewart rushed for 55 yards on 14 carries to lead the Panthers in rushing.
