The Green Bay Packers achieved their third consecutive win on the road against the Miami Dolphins after quarterback Aaron Rodgers pretended to spike the ball.
He then threw the game-winning touchdown pass to tight end Andrew Quarless with three seconds remaining on the clock. Despite Rodgers continuing his momentum, he had to carry the offense again as running back Eddie Lacy had another disappointing performance with 40 rushing yards on 14 carries.
The Packers will take on the Carolina Panthers, who tied 37-37 with the Cincinnati Bengals. Panthers quarterback Cam Newton put on an impressive performance with 284 yards and two touchdowns with an interception while adding 107 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin is questionable for Sunday with a concussion. Luckily for the Panthers, the Packers have both of their starting cornerbacks injured. Sam Shields will be out with a knee injury, and Tramon Williams is questionable with an ankle injury.
The Panthers will receive a boost in their running game with Jonathan Stewart returning from a knee sprain. Their defense has regressed greatly this year though, and they will be hard-pressed to stop Rodgers and Lacy.
Since the Packers are at home and playing their best football right now, they are expected to win their fourth game in a row.
Prediction: Packers 31, Panthers 21
