The St. Louis Rams have had a rough start to say the least, and the San Francisco 49ers overcame a 14-0 deficit to beat them, 31-17. They will look to improve to 2-4 against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Rams’ running game was disappointing as they only rushed for 93 yards as a team, but rookie Tre Mason had his first game with significant playing time and made the most of it with 40 yards on five carries.
The Rams were able to trim the 49ers’ lead to 24-17 in the fourth quarter before forcing a three-and-out to receive an opportunity to tie the game.
Quarterback Austin Davis threw a pick-six to seal the 49ers’ win, and he will face another tough defense in the Seahawks.
The Seahawks are also coming off a loss. They fell to the Dallas Cowboys at home, 30-23, and their record now stands at 3-2. They will seek to get back on top in the NFC West starting with a win over the Rams.
Quarterback Russell Wilson had one of the worst games of his career as he was held to 126 yards and an interception. The Seahawks defensive line looked uncharacteristically vulnerable as Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray ran for 115 yards and a touchdown.
The Seahawks will face a much easier task in stopping the Rams offense than the Cowboys though.
Prediction: Seahawks 30, Rams 14
