Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw the game-winning touchdown pass to help the lead his team to a 13-9 win over the Carolina Panthers.

The Seattle Seahawks got back on form as they defeated the Carolina Panthers, 13-9. Their defense showed the form that helped them win the Super Bowl last season.
The Seahawks improved to 4-3 with their win and ultimately kept themselves alive in the NFC West race.
There were no touchdowns scored for most of the game as both teams traded field goals throughout, but Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson came through in the clutch with a touchdown pass to tight end Luke Willson with less than a minute remaining.
Wilson did not have best game, but he was overall solid with 199 yards and a touchdown with one interception on 20-of-32 passing. Running back Marshawn Lynch ran for 62 yards on 14 carries.
For the Panthers, quarterback Cam Newton struggled as he was held to 171 passing yards and an interception on 12-of-22 passing.
Wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin had an impressive performance as he caught four passes for 94 yards. One of his catches came in spectacular form as he caught a 50-yard pass despite being well-covered by Seahawks defensive backs Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas.
