Running back Mark Ingram rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries, taking advantage of the absence of Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas.

For the Panthers, quarterback Cam Newton struggled badly as he was held to 151 yards and an interception on 10-of-28 passing.
