The Seattle Seahawks got back on track with a 13-9 win over the Carolina Panthers on the road after losing two straight games. Quarterback Russell Wilson didn’t have his best game, but he threw a touchdown pass with 47 seconds left to give the Seahawks the win.
The Seahawks defense looked like it was back in Super Bowl form, and they will look to avenge a preseason loss to the Oakland Raiders as they face them on Sunday.
Raiders quarterback Derek Carr had thrown three touchdowns against the Seahawks in the preseason to lead them to a 41-31 victory.
However, the Raiders have been arguably the worst team in the NFL this season as they hold an 0-7 record. They were unable to defeat the Cleveland Browns, who had just lost badly to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Raiders rank last in rushing yards, and they will be facing a beast in the Seahawks defensive line.
The Seahawks secondary has not been elite like last year, but they should have no problem containing a weak Raiders offense.
This game will likely be a blowout since the Seahawks are returning home.
Prediction: Seahawks 38, Raiders 10
