The St. Louis Rams appeared to be on the brink of losing at the last second to the San Francisco 49ers, but they pulled off a miraculous upset win as they held on for a 13-10 victory.
The Rams defense was spectacular as they sacked 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick eight times, and they recovered a fumble from Kaepernick at their own one-yard line at the end of the fourth quarter.
Kaepernick threw for 237 yards and a touchdown on 22-of-33 passing, but his fumble ultimately cost his team the game although the offensive line did him no favors.
Wide receiver Anquan Boldin had a solid performance with six catches for 93 yards and a touchdown.
For the Rams, quarterback Austin Davis threw for 105 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions on 13-of-24 passing.
Running back Tre Mason ran for 65 yards on 19 carries to lead the Rams in rushing, and wide receiver Kenny Britt had the sole touchdown catch for the Rams.
