The Blackhawks immediately came storming out of the gate at the Honda Center as they scored the first goal of the game.

The Blackhawks continued to dominate in the second period as left wing Brandon Saad and right wing Marian Hossa scored the next goals to give the Blackhawks a 4-0 lead.
The Ducks did not give up though, as center Ryan Kesler scored their first goal with just over a minute left in the second period.
In the third period, Ducks left wing Corey Perry scored his 10th goal of the playoffs to trim the lead to 4-2, but the Ducks’ hope for a rally was shattered as defenseman Brent Seabrook scored for the Blackhawks on a power play.
The Ducks fought to the bitter end as Matt Beleskey scored on a power play with 42 seconds left.
Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford turned in a solid performance as he stopped 35 shots on 38 attempts by the Ducks.
Ducks goaltender Frederik Andersen’s slump continued as he allowed five goals on 26 shots.
