Denmark international has just suffered drink-driving conviction.
On loan Juventus front man Nicklas Bendtner could be returning back to Arsenal before the end of the season if the ‘Old Lady of Italian Football’ decide that enough is enough following the Denmark international’s drink driving shame, says the Daily Mirror.
The lanky Dane was fined £97,000 and banned from driving for three years on Tuesday by a court in his homeland after being caught drink driving in Copenhagen in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The player was spotted by Danish police driving the wrong way down a street in the capital and when breathalysed was found to be three times over the legal limit in Denmark.
As a result, the centre forward must now wait to discover whether the Turin giants will also punish him for his misdemeanour by cutting short his loan spell and sending Bendtner back to north London early, with his loan period originally set to come to an end this summer.
Whatever happens, it now seems highly unlikely that the 25 year old will still be with the Serie title holders come next season, especially as so far this campaign the striker has made just the nine appearances for the Italian giants, with six of those coming via the bench, and no goals to his name.
