Nigel Pearson rant: Foxes boss unleashes bizarre tirade at unsuspecting journalist
Following his bizarre Ostrich rant at a poor journalist on Tuesday night, there is apparently no telling what kind of stuff he’ll come out with when backed up against a wall.
However, there is now a huge case building to suggest that he is becoming increasingly intense as the season goes on.
Below, we’ve collected his weariest moments of the campaign so far.
F**k off and die
It’s not just journalists that stand to suffer from his ire. Back in December when his side went down to Liverpool, a fan decided to vent his criticisms from the stands, only for the madcap Foxes boos to turn around and tell him to “f**k off and die”.
The incident earned him a £10,000 fine and a one-match touchline ban. What makes this even stranger is that he just refused to apologise for the incident, stating: “I’ve had run-ins with fans in the past and in the heat of the moment these things happen.
“I’m not going to repeat what happened on either side. I’m very keen to protect myself and my players. I’m more than happy to stand up for myself in that situation.
“If people were offended then that is regrettable. But there is no need to apologise to somebody of that ilk.”
