The 22-year-old is considered the final piece in the Reds’ jigsaw.
Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has claimed that Victor Moses can fire Liverpool to the Premier League title after his season-long loan switch from Chelsea.
Moses joined the Reds on transfer deadline day after being marginalised by a slew of attacking players at Stamford Bridge and could make his competitive debut for the Merseyside outfit at Swansea on September 16.
Brendan Rodgers’ side currently lead the division and are the only club with a 100% record after chalking up three consecutive 1-0 victories and Keshi is convinced the 22-year-old could be the final piece in the jigsaw.
“I am happy with this because Liverpool is a club I like very much,” Keshi told supersport.
“The arrival of Moses means Liverpool will win the championship because he is a very good player who will boost the side.”
Keshi’s assertion certainly carries significant credence given Luis Suarez is close to a return from suspension meaning he and Moses will join an in-form Daniel Sturridge, who has netted all three of Liverpool’s winning goals this term.
The former Wigan winger played his part in Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Malawi on Saturday to progress to the play-off stage for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
