The North Queensland Cowboys have recorded a dour 8-0 win over the Wests Tigers in Campbelltown.

The first half was an average affair, both teams dropping the ball and few attacking opportunities were presented.
On 29 minutes the Cowboys took a precious 2-0 lead thanks to a penalty. It was the only points in a dull first half.
In the second period the game continued to be a grind. The Cowboys had their noses in front and the Tigers were understrength after losing Tim Simona to injury.
Both teams continued to make handling errors.
The Tigers went close to scoring but Kevin Naiqama just couldn’t get control of the ball with the line wide open.
With four minutes the Cowboys finally broke the try drought. A mistake from James Tedesco let Antonio Winterstein in.
Time ran out for the Tigers to hit back and the Cowboys went home with the points.
