Gold Coast have pushed further with its attempt to lure Manly star Daly Cherry-Evans to the club, with the half-back reportedly meeting with Titans officials on Monday.
According to AAP, Cherry-Evans visited Titans headquarters to inspect the facilites as a number of clubs chase the Test representative.
With the Cronulla Sharks and Parramatta Eels also interested, the Titans will reportedly make a $3 million offer when his contract expires at the Sea Eagles at the end of the 2015 season.
Cherry-Evans’ manager Gavin Orr confirmed to AAP that his client was interested in a move to the Titans.
“He was just checking out the facilities and infrastructure of the place and seeing if they wanted to present something to him from the board,” Orr said.
“He’s only interested in the club’s that he thinks he can improve and they’re one of the clubs.”
The Titans open their NRL season against the Wests Tigers on March 7.
