Cody Walker has joined the Rabbitohs on a two-year deal.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs have announced the signing of 24-year-old Melbourne Storm five-eighth Cody Walker for the 2015 and 2016 seasons today.
Walker has been part of the Melbourne Storm system throughout the 2013 and 2014 seasons, playing at its Queensland affiliate club Easts Tigers.
Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael McGuire said that the club had been keeping tabs on Walker for some time, and was pleased to bring him to South Sydney.
“Cody has been on our radar for a while and we’re pleased to have secured his services for the next two seasons,” Maguire said.
“He’s proven himself at Queensland Cup level and we’re looking forward to working with him and introducing him to our full time squad next season.”
The Rabbitohs currently sit third of the NRL ladder, winning nine of its 14 matches this season.
