Melbourne Storm v St George Illawara
Last years NRL champions and World Cup Challenge winners, the Melbourne Storm started the season on the right note as they look to be the first team in many years to defend their title. When Wayne Bennett was coaching the Dragons, both teams had a clinical edge the other NRL teams lacked.
Fast forward to now and the Storm have become even more clinical and highly drilled, while the Dragons have lost their way and are languishing on the bottom of the NRL ladder. Jamie Soward is the key to the Dragons performing well and while he still struggles to find form so do St George.
While the big three from Melbourne, Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk and Cameron Smith continue to produce such outstanding football it is hard to see Melbourne finishing any lower than second this season.
