Another two teams hungry for their first win of the season, the Titans looked solid against the Cronulla Sharks and only went down by 2 points to a passionate team led by Paul Gallen.
Canberra did not continue where they left off last season, with a dismal performance in the first round. The ‘Green Machine’ has had a week of off-field drama that saw the departure of star fullback Josh Dugan and the one week suspension of Blake Ferguson.
It will be a hard ask for the Raiders to concentrate against a determined Titans team whose young halves are playing in great form.
