Check out the teams ahead of the much-anticipated clash.
Anthony Griffin has finalised his Broncos team for tonight’s NRL season opener against the Bulldogs in Sydney.
Young prop Jarrod Wallace has been rewarded for a strong pre-season with a spot on the bench, with David Hala to miss out on playing tonight as 18th man.
That means the Broncos will go with four forwards on the bench against the strong Bulldogs pack at ANZ Stadium.
The side will take the field as per program.
The Bulldogs have no concerns, with Trent Hodkinson (hand) recovering from an injury picked up in the trials.
Josh Reynolds (shoulder) will definitely play despite missing all the trials due to off-season surgery.
Young gun Moses Mbye has been named 18th man in first grade and also at starting halfback in NSW Cup.
The Broncos are also free of injury concerns. Coach Anthony Griffin has abandoned plans to switch Josh Hoffman and Ben Barba between five-eighth and fullback, with the star duo to play the full game in the positions named.
Andrew McCullough is expected to play the full 80 minutes at hooker. Young gun Corey Oates is expected to return in round three.
