It also helped that he put together one of the greatest seasons in NFL history for a rookie wide receiver with 91 catches for 1,305 receiving yards and 12 touchdown catches.
Due to his incredible rookie season, Beckham was voted to be the new cover model for Madden NFL 16 over New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Beckham is making $10.4 million over four years in his rookie contract, but he is hoping to see himself and other NFL players make more money.
The Giants wide receiver will definitely make more money when it’s time for him to sign a new contract since he appears to be on his way to becoming one of the top NFL receivers.
It will be difficult for him to convince the league that players need more money though since contract values have gone up in recent years, such as Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh signing a $114 million contract despite not being a quarterback.
