No. 22 Ohio State was upset by Virginia Tech last week, and they clearly have vengeance on their minds as they are delivering a crushing blow to Kent State with a 59-0 lead.
Quarterback J.T. Barrett is having the game of his life with six touchdown passes on 23-of-30 passing with 312 yards.
This game made Barrett just the second Buckeyes quarterback in school history to throw six touchdown passes in a game. The first was Kenny Guiton, who temporarily filled in for Braxton Miller last season.
Here is a tweet from College GameDay’s official account reporting this fact.
J.T Barrett (23-30, 312 Yds) joins Kenny Guiton as the only two OSU QBs to throw 6 TD passes in a game. #KENTvsOSU
