The Thunder felt the impact of Durant’s inability to stay healthy as they are still battling to secure a playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Durant will sit out of Saturday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets with a foot injury, and he is being considered to day-to-day.
Despite him being out for an extended period of time this season, the Thunder currently hold the eighth seed with a half-game lead over the Phoenix Suns.
Durant’s foot injury is not considered serious right now, but the Thunder will need to take all the precautions they can to make sure their MVP stays healthy.
