KD clearly not in the mood to talk to media in New York…
Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant has lashed out at the media again amid a strange weekend of comments for the usually media-friendly star.

Durant was clearly angered by questions regarding the future of his coach Scott Brooks, and given the regularity with which his future is questioned, it appears as though KD has finally snapped.
“You guys really don’t know s***,” Durant told reporters, ESPN reports.
“To be honest, man, I’m only here talking to y’all because I have to,” Durant added when asked what kind of questions he would prefer the media to focus on.
“So I really don’t care. Y’all not my friends. You’re going to write what you want to write. You’re going to love us one day and hate us the next. That’s a part of it. So I just learn how to deal with y’all.”
Given that the 26-year-old has built a reputation of being one of the nicest and most polite stars in the NBA, his comments this weekend have come as quite a shock after an outburst on Saturday too when he insisted that the media should have less power in voting for awards such as MVP and Sixth Man of the Year.
Durant put it down to the fact that he is now older and more comfortable expressing his opinion, and it appears as though he is done with providing the media with his usual friendly answers.
“We go through emotions and go through feelings and I am just trying to express mine and try to help people along the way. I am not going to sit here and tell you that I am just this guy that is programmed to say the right stuff all the time and politically correct answers. I am done with that. I am just trying to be me and continue to grow as a man.”
It remains to be seen whether or not this is now the way Durant will continue to choose to deal with the media, but it isn’t likely to do him favours in the long run as the media arguably play a big role in the way in which he is perceived by fans around the world.
