Y. Cabaye on his failed transfer this summer: “The only other person who knows the truth is Joe Kinnear. If he is honnest, he will tell it.”

Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye has refused to discuss his failed transfer to Arsenal, insisting that only Joe Kinnear knows the truth about the saga.
The Toon rejected a £10m bid from Arsenal in late August and Cabaye reportedly refused to play in the Magpies’ opening two league matches of the campaign after having his head turned by the North London outfit.
The France international returned the first team after the Gunners refused to meet Newcastle asking price and Cabaye says the only person apart from himself who knows what went on is director of football Kinnear.
The 27-year-old playmaker was speaking to journalists ahead of international duty with France this week.
