The Spanish international made the move to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona this summer, returning to the Premier League just three years after leaving Arsenal.
Fabregas spent most of his career with the Gunners, becoming club captain and one of their star players, though he now feels he is at his best with Chelsea and Mourinho.
“I am playing football with (Mourinho) where I feel really good, in the position I like to play in. I feel free,” he said.
“Perhaps I’m playing the best football of my career.”
