Spurs took the lead against the Senegalese international’s new side in the first half, with Ba grabbing the equaliser late on in the 89th minute.
The Turkish side were arguably the better side for most of the match however, in what was a poor display from Mauricio Pochettino’s boys.
Ba took to Instagram to let the internet know what he thought of the result, and he seemed well aware that he should have been on the winning side.
“Deserve more but i so proud of my team Daha fazlasini hak ettik ama takimimla gurur duyuyorum. #BigBlackKartal”
The former Chelsea and Newcastle striker has looked solid since his summer switch to the Turkish league, and he will be hoping to get the better of Tottenham in the return leg in December.
