The Parramatta Eels have snared Adam Quinlan for the 2015 NRL season pending a release from St George Illawarra.
The Eels say they have reached an agreement “in priciple” with the 22-year-old, who joined Eels pre-season training on Tuesday.
Parramatta head coach Brad Arthur says Quinlan’s versatile was a key factor in the club’s decision to sign the Dragons man.
“Adam is a talented and versatile player who will be a great addition to our side this year,” Arthur said in a club statement.
“He can add some quality depth to our back line and be one of many young players challenging for a spot in our starting side.”
Despite showing flashes of quality, the Eels missed out on finals football in 2014.
Quinlan joins Beau Champion, Brad Takairang and Reece Robinson as new additions to the Eels backline in 2015.
