Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has ruled out of a move for Juventus star Paul Pogba, and has compared the player to the Eiffel Tower.
Pogba has been linked with an exit from the Serie A giants in recent months and reports suggested Chelsea would attempt to sign the 22-year-old.
However, despite admitting to be a huge admirer of the midfielder, Mourinho says Chelsea would not be making a move for the former Manchester United man.
“Pogba is one of the top players in the world. Pogba goes to any team and improves that team automatically,” he is quoted as saying by The Telegraph.
“I think everybody has an interest in Pogba. But there are things you can do and things you cannot do. I love the Eiffel Tower but I can’t have the Eiffel Tower in my garden. I can’t even have the Eiffel Tower of Las Vegas.”
The Premier League champions have so far officially confirmed three signings this summer, with Asmir Begovic, Radamel Falcao and Nathan all signing deals with the Blues.
Chelsea look set to miss out on Anderlecht star Aleksandar Mitrovic, with The Daily Mail reporting the Serbian was spotted on Tyneside ahead of completing a £13.5m deal.
