Pogba has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain all believed to be interested in the 22-year-old’s signature.
According to reports in Italy [via Metro], Chelsea have held talks with Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola in an attempt to try and thrash out a deal.
Daily Star reports that Juventus value the attacker at £70m, however the fee could be set to skyrocket with some of Europe’s most wealthy clubs chasing the France international.
Pogba is believed to be demanding a £200k-a-week deal, and while Real Madrid have baulked at his demands, both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City are happy to splash the cash on one of Europe’s brightest talents.
It has been reported that Pogba is favouring a move to Barcelona, however the Catalan club cannot make any transfers until 2016 due to its FIFA-imposed transfer ban.
