Pogba is believed to be being chased by the Premier League duo, however, The Daily Mail reports the Catalan club offered the Serie A giants a £56.7m transfer fee for the 22-year-old star.
The offer still falls below Juventus’ reported £70m valuation of the French international, and the Serie A club’s managing director Giuseppe Marotta confirmed he had turned down the deal.
However, it is believed Pogba is extremely keen on a move to the Nou Camp despite Barcelona’s transfer ban that does not allow the club to sign players until 2016.
According to the report, Barcelona are keen to cement a deal that will see Pogba remain in Turin next season before arriving at the Catalan giants ahead of the 2016/17 season.
